HRT to be free
Make HRT medication exempt from the prescription charge
Why is this important?
Thousands of women in England need HRT, but have to pay for it on prescription. It is not a choice! The contraceptive pill is free, so why not HRT.
It's bad enough we have to pay for sanitary products. If a women has her periods for 40 years of her life, she will have spent well over £1000 on sanitary products.
Only England affected as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland all get free prescriptions.
