After the catastrophic fire at Grenfell Tower, and bearing in mind the numerous complaints and warnings about the lack of fire and safety precautions, the probability of landlord negligence in this tragedy is too high to be ignored.

Why is this important?

Because if of goes unpunished, it could happen again.

Reasons for signing

  • Cutting corners,cutting costs and cutting lives short.
  • Anyone complicit in the loss of life caused by the fire at Grenfell Tower, either by negligence of duty or by deliberate act against prevention of such tragedy should be charged with manslaughter at the very least. This should also include the 72 MPs who voted against regulations to ensure landlords make their properties safe and fit for human habitation. These actions are directly linked to the loss of lives in this matter, and should be treated as criminal actions to the full extent of the law
  • People responsible for any failings should not be let off the hook
