Improve Clarendon Park playground
Fund the resurfacing and replacement of outdated equipment at Clarendon Park playground.
Why is this important?
The playground on Clarendon Park Road has long been neglected. The city council has acknowledged that the surfacing is unsafe and that much of the equipment is no longer appropriate. The local community have been told they must raise ninety thousand pounds to fund these essential works and that the city council will not provide any funding towards this work. We would like the city council to fund the resurfacing and replacement of outdated equipment.
Many families have little or no private gardens. The playground provides valuable opportunity for the community to meet and for children to play safely together.
