Facilitate urgent meetings between these nations with the aim of planning and organising an international peacekeeping force to enter Gaza and the West Bank.
The objectives must be the protection and defence of the Palestinian people, the creation of safe and secure corridors for humanitarian aid, and the initiation of a permanent peace process that will finally bring an end to this senseless carnage.
One potential initiative, as suggested by Craig Mokhiber, human rights lawyer, would be to do this through the general assembly of the United Nation’s “United For Peace” resolution 1950, which gives every country one vote, without the fear of a US veto.
