Introduce better enforcement of signage in car parks, not to entrap drivers

I am writing to petition against the increasing number of private car parking invoices issued to vehicle owners. It has come to my attention that the companies managing these car parks are installing signage as part of the parking agreement. However, the signageat the entrances is often positioned to reduce visibility, with some signs facing away from incoming traffic.
This practice may mislead drivers, as warnings about parking terms are only after they have entered the car parks, which I believe constitutes an attempt to impose additional charges on users unjustly. Therefore, I am submitting this petition to request that all signage at private car park entrances be made more visible, ensuring it is not placed in a way that diminishes its visibility.
Additionally, I advocate that local authorities be granted enhanced powers to regulate these practices and to issue licenses to car park operators, similar to other licensing systems, with licenses to be revoked if standards are not met.

Why is this important?

To protect drivers from charges that could have been avoided by holding owners and car parks more accountable for ensuring correct, visible signage, and to prevent profiting from this.
