Keep Lawrence in Woking!

Please keep Lawrence in Woking

Why is this important?

Lawrence is one of the happiest, most polite and courteous people you could ever meet. He is reliably on time and always greets you by name with a cheerful grin - his happiness is infectious. We in Woking love having him as our delivery driver, and Lawrence is really settled working here, however DPD are looking at changing the rounds in the second week in September, meaning that Lawrence is due to be sent to Frimley instead 🥺
So we, his loyal customers, have decided to do something to try and change DPD's decision. Lawrence is hugely valued in this area. In these uncertain times, with customers increasingly reliant on delivery services, it is more important than ever to find someone upon whom you can trust to deliver your goods safely. For some, this might be the only interaction they receive all day.

Reasons for signing

  • Lawrence is the loveliest driver and we get parcels daily and looked forward to seeing him. We want him back!
  • As everyone else has said, he is always happy and polite, nothing has ever been damaged. And being called Miss Debby makes me smile, I'm nearly 60! I do hope he can stay.
  • Only delivery guy who I know by name. Treats everyone on his round with old fashioned customer service and always has a smile. Please leave him in Woking

Thank you all so much for your support. We now have an incredible 438 signatures! I've sent this petition to DPD today, via Facebook messenger and via Twitter, in the hope that it reaches them in time to keep Lawrence here. I've also nominated Lawrence for a special award on the DPD website and have mentioned the petition on there too. I will keep pushing until we receive a response. Thanks again, Jen
