Keep road verges uncut
Keep road verges uncut or at least cut fewer times.
Why is this important?
Research has shown that uncut grass supports higher numbers of insects and invertebrates, which are a food source for birds and small mammals, therefore increasing biodiversity.
Furthermore, wild areas full of flowers also support emotional well-being and can reduce stress levels.
