Let garden centres open to the public
Allow garden centres to open to sell plants to the public during the corona virus epidemic with the same safeguards as at supermarkets.
Why is this important?
Many people want to grow vegetables and plants and are finding time to do this during the current crisis. Growers are facing massive losses and potentially throwing away millions of pounds worth of stock they have been growing for the spring season. It is almost impossible to get seeds and plants at the moment. We need to encourage people to grow their own food and learn about being more self-sufficient for the future.
