To: All dog owners & lovers!

Let our dog's back on the beaches!

Due to recent changes in the laws across our country, our four legged friends are now completely banned from beaches during May-Sept.

This petition is to agree a half way point to be met by local councils. As dog owners we understand that a busy beach and a free doggie, doesn't always end well, particularly with people's lack of dog training knowledge these days.

We would ask that a time frame be set in place, so that from 10am to 5pm, dogs would refrain from beachcombing.

Most dog walkers are out first and last thing, we like a quiet beach so our little pals can do what they live for; be free!

This has become a problem Countrywide, we are a nation of dog lovers and we're being chipped, fined and prosecuted for it. By signing this petition we can perhaps start a wider change, and let our dog's enjoy life.

Why is this important?

Most dog owners ALWAYS pick up their mess, and as local beach walkers we notice just how much mess HUMANS leave on the beach. We've found everything from needles to nappies. So this mass blaming of dogs as a reason to exclude them from our beaches is nonsense. And as for 'harmful diseases' - kids with dogs have better immune systems than those who don't! Or take a gander at your local water quality and see what's REALLY bringing it down...

If you are a dog owners, you'll know that the beach is the best place for your dog. It's the one place they can run for miles, play with other friends, go for a dip in the sea and just be DOG!

While your dog is cooped up indoors, their ONLY thought is "when do we go outside again?". As humans we find this strange, but remember, you and your 'walkies' are the only thing that little dude or dudette has in this world.

Just think about that for a second.

Now, let them run free!!
