Block live animal transport if there's a No Deal Brexit

If there is a No Deal Brexit there may be long delays for cross-channel traffic. Please place an embargo on the export of live animals during this uncertain period.

Why is this important?

Animals are crammed into vehicles. Some are injured or trampled. They can be in transit for days, suffering extremes of temperature and can go without sufficient food, water or rest.

Long delays due to a no deal Brexit would be even more distressing than usual for animals in transit.
