Local and Live 2014 - Let's ensure it's back in 2015!

Thank you for signing the petition Local and Live 2014 - Let's ensure it's back in 2015! The petition was presented to TWBC on October 15 and received a very strong welcome at the Council meeting on Wednesday.

We are pleased to let everyone know that Local & Live got a strong endorsement and a commitment of support for next year.

We, the undersigned congratulate Local & Live on their fantastic music festival in Tunbridge Wells over the August Bank Holiday. We thank all artists, contributors, Angel supporters, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and the Licensing Committee for their support and ask for their continued support for next year 2015.

Why is this important?

Local and Live 2014 was, I'm sure you'll agree, a fabulous success.
Whilst we all enjoyed the fabulous music and the excellent organisation this year, most of us are aware of just how difficult it has been for Paul and his team to deal with garnering financial support and all the other issues involved in putting on an event like this. We hope that by asking for your help and support to be noted to TWBC at this stage, any detractors or obstacles to the event being held again in 2015 will be lessened and positive support and publicity can start now.

How it will be delivered

On receipt of 1000 or more signatures, this petition will be presented by Cllr David Scott to the Tunbridge Wells Borough Council.

Hi all - 236 signatures so far, please sign and share more if you haven't already .... remember this is to show support and express thanks to all parties involve - Paul D, musicians, angels, volunteers, TWBC, Calverley Park, fringe venues, bar staff, etc. The comments received as part of the petition have all been so glowing and appreciative of what L&L 2014 managed to achieve this year and I'll try to share them when I work out how!!
