Make it compulsory for all new built homes to have built in bird boxes

***Make it compulsory for all new builds to have built in bird boxes***

We are a generation and a country that has recognised what damage we have and are doing to both the environment and our wildlife and we must all find a way to work with it and not against it.

Wouldn’t it be great if our next prime minister could for once see the figures that Britain is the most nature-depleted countries in the world with more than one in seven species facing extinction and more than half in decline but wouldn’t it be great if one had the courage to make it compulsory that all new buildings such as house had to have built in bird boxes. Not only will this prevent predators such as squirrels, cats and humans getting to the eggs and chicks but this will dramatically increase our wild bird numbers and if they really had the courage and strength they could manufacture these in Great Britain using recycled plastics.

It’s not whether animals will survive, it’s whether mankind has the will to save them. Those in parliament will win over the younger generation and the country as a whole by doing such little things, this generation are serious on climate change and protecting the future of our wildlife and those in parliament that are determined to deliver that will soon become the next greatest world leader. We must learn to live with it and if we do not act soon then we could possibly be the last generation to see thousands of animals living wild as they should with the next having memories only from picture books.

Why is this important?

For the wildlife and next generation
