Make retailers responsible for plastic packaging

Retailers pack so much, including produce, in plastic cartons and bags. Some, like Tesco and Waitrose, have replaced paper bags with plastic ones. All this plastic waste goes in our bins and much of it ends up travelling round the world and/or in the oceans. Make the retailers responsible for disposing of all the plastic they sell with products. Make them take the economic decisions to reduce this problem.
