Make UK Orgs Resilient to Cybercrime

Cybercrime and scams are rampant. Much like the Post Office scandal, the victims of these crimes are often not heard. The largely ineffective enforcement of existing cybercrime law means that both individual and corporate victims continue to be targeted at an alarming rate.

The vast majority of cybercrime is driven by personal and other sensitive data stolen from insecure businesses. The only way to stem the tide and significantly reduce the number of victims is to enact a law which mandates cybersecurity protections for all organisations in a way that is similar to health and safety law.

Why is this important?

Billions is lost to cybercriminals and scammers each year. Most of that loss is felt by the public who are regularly defrauded of their savings and robbed of their dignity and mental heath.

Current legal and regulatory efforts to stem the scourge of cybercrime have been largely ineffective.

Join us in convincing lawmakers that change is needed to reduce the huge number of victims of cybercrime and the anguish they suffer.
