Re think his implementation of the "making tax digital" implementation
Why is this important?
First of all the Chancellor needs to realise that most small business owners are not accountants, they are builders, engineers, plumbers, decorators, and that they have been presenting their vat documents via the HMRC gateway for years without any issues, now he wants businesses to go digital by using one of the MTD accounting programs I.e. Sage, QuickBooks, Xero etc etc, they are very complicated one needs to be a book keeper or equivalent to understand them not to mention the added costs to the business.
