Mandatory Carbon emissions labeling
It should be mandatory for all products to be clearly labelled with the carbon emissions released. This should include everything from deforestation, packaging, production of all materials and transportation to where the item is purchased. This should include flight's, the passenger should have to tick a box or click "ok" to acknowledge that they are aware of emissions created by their purchase.
Why is this important?
We are in the mist of a climate emergency. We have little time to act and we have to make it easier for the consumers to make educated decisions on purchases. Currently we are still seeing a lot of businesses confusing or creating doubt about their products. This is not acceptable.
