Medal for Ebola Nurse Pauline Cafferkey

Consider honouring Ebola nurse, Pauline Cafferkey, with a medal for bravery and the risk of her own life in the provision of medical care to Ebola victims in Sierra Leone.

Why is this important?

Ms Cafferkey selflessly risked her own life to leave the comfort of her home and care for sick and dying Ebola victims in Sierra Leone. After contracting the disease herself, she nearly died on two occasions but has bravely fought the disease and returned to her work as a nurse in Blantyre, Scotland. Her bravery and caring for others is truly exceptional and she deserves the recognition of our whole nation. She is a truly inspiring figure and role model for us all.
