Men Only Swimming Sessions in Newham
Newham council currently provide women only swimming sessions but do not do the same for men due to lack of demand in the area.
We want to urge the council to consider our request and provide us with men only swimming sessions at least once a week in the Newham area.
Why is this important?
- If women are given the facility to have segregated sessions, men should be given the same
- Protects religious beliefs: Muslims do not consider mixed sessions to be permissible
- Gives a chance for pupils to get active and stay fit
- Brings community together
