Minimum wage for under 25s
Change the ruling that the payment of minimum wage comes into effect when you reach the age of twenty five years, that it should be available to all young adults no matter how old you are.
Why is this important?
Young adults under the age of twenty five years old should be entitled to the minimum wage and not descriminated because they are under 25. Young adults hold jobs and responsibilities the same way as a twenty five year old. They can offer the same skill set but are paid far less than than the minimum wage. Why should one bartender over twenty five be paid the minimum wage and a bartender doing the same job for far less pay because they are under twenty five years of age.
