Misportrayed brain injuries
Research their storylines appropriately and deal with health issues honestly instead of trivialising them and their after effects
Why is this important?
Myself and 100's of other brain injured survivors are appalled and disgusted at the way a bleed on the brain has been dealt with. Many of us still struggle Day to day years after a ruptured aneurysm.
A character on Emmerdale had the same life-changing event and was in surgery the same day and back drinking on the pub 2 days later .
We feel very let down by the ITV and this portrayal in the storyline has damaged the hard work many of us do to raise awareness
