Money for extra teachers
Provide ring fenced money to councils to provide extra teachers to help the children who have suffered by missing schooling due to the corona virus
Why is this important?
Children are our future. If they miss the basics in Primary school they will be unable to do well in further education and jobs. It is vital that they get extra help which is not possible in normal size classes. There are not enough special help teachers. Some children will need one on one help,others will cope in small groups but large classes cannot meet all the needs
