To: West Mercia Police and all UK Police forces who are starting to try and ban photographers from popular biking routes.

Motorcycle Photography - We are not to blame for accidents !!

The Police said: The snappers' presence - to take pictures that are sold online - has led to bikers racing up the route, overtaking dangerously and even pulling wheelies.

Our reply: Many of us have taken motorcycle shots for many years and no accidents have ever happened in front of us!! We do not condone reckless driving/ riding and do not support anyone who decides to particpate in becoming a nuisance to the communities we ride through. We are part of those communities and support the locals needs along with respecting nature and the environment.

Why is this important?

We are not the cause and there is no evidence of sort to prove this. Photographers capture memories and moments and respect the bikers safety along with their own safety.
In all cases a high level of thought is put into all these areas and in most cases all bikers /drivers tend to slow down if anything to get that perfect photo.
This is clear victimisation and the law is not on your side; European and civil rights come into play and you are flouting the law itself.
It is not illegal to take a photo in a public place - I was once told this by a office of the law!!
