MP attendance in the House

MP s should be obliged to attend a minimum number of hours  (suggest 30) a week for debates in the house.
At present, there is no stipulated   attendance requirement  for an  MP to be present in Parliament at all .
Yet they can all continue to draw a full salary and expectto draw  a pension .
You only have to look at the near-empty  House of Commons on many  TV reports .

Why is this important?

I askled my MP, Terry Jermy, how many hours he had spent in the house.
His reply was that he had no obligation to spend any time in the House .
