My Natwest bank branch in Stourbridge is closing 8th February
I do not want the branch to close. Most people I speak to remain loyal only so long as the bank keeps a presence in the local area. I do not consider Merry Hill local. It would require me to make a considerable effort to get there and the other option of the post office, looks a little on its last legs too. I do not have a car and I guess I can imagine that there a number of elderly that would find it difficult to make it to Merry Hill.
Why is this important?
Anyone who is losing their local bank branch, I would think would feel my pain. So long as we stay silent, they will continue to force us onto internet banking. Not all of us are capable of internet banking either lacking the equipment or the capability of understanding the systems that they use.
