Phone App showing support and help links.
Why is this important?
We are tired of losing our children to knife violence on the streets. It is an on-going struggle to collect funds to raise awareness for the well-being and safety of our young people.
Violence is never a way forward and it is impacting the growth and futures of our children. Too many of our children are dying senselessly.
I've lost my son 4 years ago to knife crime, he died saving another, stabbed in the heart and my heart is broken all over again with the news of another broken home today.
Our young people are constantly on their phones, and I believe a mobile phone app will give them the opportunity to find support and guidance. They will be reminded constantly of the consequences of carrying knives.
Warnings and updates of police presence on the streets should be consistent and shared through this app as a preventative measure. Stop and search tactics should be conducted in a routine manner. If we can save lives, we should not hesitate to put this in effect.
There is always a reason to try all avenues of preventative measures.
A system with easy access in this day and age can contribute to a positive future for our present and future generation.
Can we give this a try??
