New and old pensioners inequality

TO INCREASE THE RATE OF PENSION FOR OLD PENSIONERS ( BORN BEFORE 1953 FOR WOMEN AND 1951 FOR MEN ) TO THE NEW PENSIONER RATE. THE NEW RATE OF PENSION IS £168 A WEEK BUT OLDER PENSIONERS RATE IS £129 which is almost 25% less.

Why is this important?

IT IS TOTALLY UNFAIR . THE NEEDS OF OLDER PEOPLE RISE BY AGE , KEEPING WARM , COPD DIFFICULTY WITH LIVING GENERALLY. SOMEONE AGED 65 HAVING A GOOD LIFE WHILE A 76 GOES COLD AND HUNGRY. HOW CRUEL IS THAT. I DO BELEIVE THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO CLAIM SOME MEANS TESTED BENEFIT ONCE YOUR SAVINGS HAVE GONE BUT MOST FIND THAT HUMILIATING AND WHY SHOULD YOU AFTER 50YEARS OF PAYING NI.
