Parking charges at Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Park (Rascals Softplay)
We petition that Merton Council do not introduce parking charges of 30p per hour at Sir Joseph Hood Memorial Park (Rascals Softplay) and do not open the gates at 6am (currently 9.30am) as the car park will fill up with commuters paying only £2.40 for all day parking.
Why is this important?
The car park will become full of commuters for the train (2 minutes walk) and will become difficult for families to use the park and Rascals Softplay. Parking charges of 30p an hour will effect business at Rascals Softplay and cause disruption to local residents.
How it will be delivered
We will email signatures to the council. The deadline is Friday 7th July.
