Petition for a snap election following the appointment of Theresa May as PM

We, the public, call upon Ms May to organise a snap General Election following her sudden appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kindom.

Why is this important?

As the head of our government, she is the lead representive of the British and Northern Irish citizens. However, having won by default, her views do not represent a large number of UK citizens, such as those who support the following:

The ban against fox hunting & badger culling
The EU Convention on Human Rights
The necessity for public bodies to work to address social and economic inequality
Free university education
The abolishment of the Bedroom Tax
Support for LGBT community to be able to adopt
Those against the deportation of EU citizens and those from across the world

As part of the democratic process, the UK public should be given the opportunity to have a say on who their Prime Minister is, by voting in a General Election.
