Petition for Flexibility in Marking & Extensions

We, the Students, of the University of Gloucestershire petition the Vice-Chancellor and Academic Board to provide automatic extensions for all Students given the recent COVID-19 global pandemic. We need extensions given the drastic change in working, removal of a physical library and a huge decrease in available resources. The delay in organising online lectures has also meant we have missed valuable teaching time. We would like extensions to be automatically applied, to match the time the UK has been placed on a lockdown by the UK Government. We also require the University to apply leniency in marking, taking in to consideration to lack of resources and face to face teaching and to effectively communicate these commitments to Students.
