Philip Hammond to demand halt to attacks on civilians in Gaza

Email Philip Hammond and ask him to urgently call the Israeli ambassador and demand that Israel halt attacks on civilians in Gaza. The foreign secretary should demand assurances from the Israeli ambassador that there will be no more air strikes against civilians and civilian structures in Gaza.

Why is this important?

Over 200 people have been killed in a week of airstrikes on Gaza, most of these civilians according to the United Nations. At least 30 children are among those killed, including four little boys who were killed today (16 July) while playing football on a beach in Gaza in full sight of a number of journalists. The human toll of the airstrikes has reached an unacceptable level. It is technically a war crime to target civilians in this way, regardless of any military objective.
