Plastic recycling
Enact legislation so all plastics used in any domestic packaging can be recycled without separation
Why is this important?
Recycling plastic in particular is becoming a nightmare having to scrutinise every package before disposal.
Most supermarket packaging has a degree of recyclability, but for example, the plastic tray containing meat can be recycled but the covering film cannot. Likewise, not all plastic canisters trays or other containers are recyclable. It should become compulsory for retailers to sell goods only in matierials that do not have to go to landfill.
