Prevent resigning MPs from standing for re-election for four years.

Call on parliament to change electoral law to prevent a sitting MP from resigning then standing immediately in the resulting by- election.

There should be a gap of four calendar years before a resigning MP can stand in the same constituency and one year to subsequently stand in any other constituency.

Why is this important?

I’m disgusted by the way Nigel Farage is treating the democratic process of the UK to detract from his opaque financial activities - the cost to the public due to this diversionary stunt is unacceptable.
