Prioritise home delivery for enforced self-isolators: elderly, disabled and suspected coronavirus patients.
This could be achieved quite easily with a simple declaration tick-box on the checkout page:
“Please confirm that you are currently self-isolating on medical advice according to age, pre-existing medical condition or that you are a suspected coronavirus patient.”

Why is this important?
Many elderly and disabled/ chronically ill people have been relying on home deliveries for their own everyday nutritional and personal hygiene needs.
Due to widespread panic buying, it has become increasingly difficult to secure a delivery slot within a reasonable time frame, so that many people in these vulnerable groups are currently facing not only the prospect of loneliness over the coming weeks and months, but the very real possibility of running out of basic groceries and over-the-counter medical supplies.
