Pure Gym in Morecambe
I would like Pure Gym to open up a gym facility in the town of Morecambe.
Why is this important?
In the space of 18 months, Morecambe has lost two of it's local gyms in Snap Fitness, then followed more recently by Everlast Fitness (formerly DW Fitness).
I myself was a member of Everlast (DW) and the place became a refuge for me. In trying times, the gym helped me out physically, but, more importantly, mentally. To have the gym closed and took away so swiftly after it was taken over by Everlast, it lasted less than a month, hurt myself, hurt the town but even more importantly, it lost alot of good people and personal trainers their jobs.
Before I moved to Morecambe in 2016, I lived in Gateshead and was a member of Pure Gym and it is still the best gym I have been a member of! £14.99 a month, no contract, open 24 hours a day, with some of the best machinery, facilities, classes, free weights and staff in a gym environment I have witnessed.
I have recently reached out to Pure Gym during this second national lockdown asking would they be interested in opening a gym in Morecambe and they replied saying "if the demand is there, we are always looking to expand".
So, what this petition is for, is to show Pure Gym that the demand is here! So please, sign and share this petition and hopefully we can get a Pure Gym opened up in Morecambe, for a affordable gym with great machinery and facilities and to hopefully bring something new and fresh to the town and afew new jobs along the way!
