Recycling
For all food packaging and other materials used in packaging needs to be 100% recyclable. All councils should be made to recycle all said packaging. To pay for this all supermarkets and other shops should be made to pay a levy and supply recycling collection on site for all materials used within their packaging. This would reduce rubbish in landfill and rubbish needing collection.
Why is this important?
We as a nation are not doing enough to solve the recycling problem. Individuals on a low income cannot often afford to do what is required. If the proposals were put in place it would help everyone recycle and improve the country's carbon footprint.
