Redcliffe Surgery plans to move to Chelsea
In the light of the proposed relocation of the Redcliffe Surgery to Chelsea, there is an urgent need for discussions to take place between the Council, NHS England and the principle partners of the Redcliffe Surgery to develop a strategy to maintain high quality health care, and examine the opportunity of an Urgent Care Centre responding to need, and incorporating a range of clinics to reduce the pressure on Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
Why is this important?
The Redcliffe Surgery is one of the largest GP practices in the borough, with approximately 17,000 patients registered and the Earl’s Court, Redcliffe and Courtfield wards, which are some of the most densely populated wards in Kensington and Chelsea.
The alternative GP practices are either not in borough, or are already to patient capacity.
