Reform or abolish the house of lords as it is unelected and undemocratic

Why is this important?

We have elected to leave the EU, one of the main campaign issues was that the EU Commission is not Elected.
The House of lords is Also NOT Elected, so therefore unfair and undemocratic, lords are appointed not elected by the people.
For example; David Cameron can appoint more Tory peers to the House of Lords.
