Refugees welcome in Orkney
I would like Orkney Island Council to take in as many refugee families that can be accomodated.
Why is this important?
I want to help ease the suffering of these desperate people. We must stand up and show our solidarity, welcome these people into our country and stop turning our backs on them. How many more children like Aylan and his brother have to die before we do something. The time to act is now, please open our doors and let them in.
