To: All MPs

Resolving the Israel /Palestine conflict . Britain can do it.

We call on all MPs to acknowledge Britain’s role in 1) the origin of the conflict and 2) the Nakba to lead to a Viable Peace Process
Natasha Gill Track (who manages simulations of the negotiators in the conflict and knows first hand what is needed from all sides for a viable peace process) says that “This might afford Britain the opportunity to speak to the parties as one that has a moral and historical stake in its resolution
Should Britain admit past failures, Israelis might feel that they can acknowledge their own role in the origin of the conflict and the Nakba without getting entangled in a web of exclusive culpability."

Why is this important?

Britain must investigate its records and publicly acknowledge

1) that the Palestinian people are the indigenous people who successfully farmed the fertile land in the country Palestine for 100s of years before the Balfour Declaration

2)The truth about the Nakba when Britain was the responsible power

why : Natasha Gill says that the origin of the conflict and the Nakba are two areas with contentious narratives that are a huge block to a Viable Peace Process,
