respect for single parents
i want to stop the discrimination addressed to single parents.
There are lots of rent ads saying NO DSS. The agencies ask for a uk guarantor or a 6 months of rent.
This is unfair. Not all people have an english guarantoor or 6 months of savings.
When you are in low income, it is nearly impossible to save a lot.
This petition is made to ask the goverment to make a law that protect either people in benefit and landlord.
We want the same rights of others. We want to be free to decide where to live.
Why is this important?
Single parents have lots of stress to deal with.
We do not need extra stress and more thoughts for the research of a shelter. It is our rights and we have to be garanteed. For us and for our kids,the society's future.
Our stress reflects on our kids and it is not fair.
We need help to solve this discimination and have our freedom of choice.
