Reverse the outrageous decision to close MARTON Post Office Blackpool
To act in a professional manner and reverse the decision of junior Post Office Ltd staff and reappoint Ian D Straughan as Postmaster.
The pettiness of this exercise is abhorrent, scheming and disgusting.

Why is this important?
As of Monday 28th September 2015, without notice Post Office Ltd closed my Branch MARTON, Blackpool.
A Branch that has been open since 1947 as a traditional Post Office, no fancy 'Cashier Number two' systems just good old customer service, something the Senior Management seem to have lost sight of.
As an extremely busy Office, nearly every customer was known by name and treated as an individual, knowing how to greet everyone who walked through the doors.
Every member of my staff were meticulous in assuring customers were given sufficient time to transact their business, making extra time for those elderly and infirm. Offering advise and support when people were at their most vulnerable.
Having run Marton Post Office for over 17 years I had a pride in my position unlike the stance of Post Office Ltd's Management who now only want 'nodding', 'pushy', 'ignorant sell sell sell' Offices.
Their plans to modernise the network of Post Offices is failing in a spectacular fashion and the Billions of £'s of TAXPAYERS money they have wasted is a public scandal. Naturally one which they are desperate to hide.
However Post Office Ltd's main failing is the volatility and fragility of the Board of Directors, a bunch of unaccountable wimps who are totally incapable of answering for their own failings and flaws. Perhaps their is one flicker of hope for the millions of British citizens who depend on local Post Offices, the appointment of a new Chairman the one and only Tim Parker. Obviously the current Government have seen the failings of the current Board and as the only shareholder need to be seen to try and stem the managed decline of a once GREAT Business.
