Right to receive full eye test prescription so you can use online companies

Make it mandatory for opticians to put all of the necessary information on the prescription, including the key measurement between pupils for varifocal users (currently opticians don't have to write this information on the prescription).

Why is this important?

Most spectacle users knows that they can ask their opticians for a copy of their prescription enabling them to buy their glasses anywhere, another opticians or a much cheaper online company. Well, I say this, but it is only if you have single vision lenses. Did you know that if you have varifocals, you are able to take your prescription to any high street opticians but you can't make use of online services as a key measurement is missed off of the prescription! This means when you go to another opticians, this measurement will be taken so that the correct glasses are ordered. Obviously, online companies cannot take this measurement and if you tried to do it yourself at home, it might not be completely accurate.

So, this means, that varifocal users are being unfairly financially penalised and discriminated against as they can't take advantage of much cheaper online options.
