To: Essex Libraries' workers
Roll of Appreciation for 100 Years of Essex Libraries
We the undersigned express our deep appreciation and thanks to all Essex Libraries' workers, and congratulate you all on your centenary.
Why is this important?
It is you the workers that make Essex Library Service what it is. A much loved public service that has been an outstanding success for 100 years. However, we recognise that recent times have been difficult, with both your roles, and the service you provide, so often undermined, and undervalued. Regrettably the short term future at least does not seem likely to offer any relief in this regard. So not only do we express our appreciation for all that you do, and continue to do for us, the people of Essex, in ongoing difficult circumstances. We promise that we will continue to stand with you in the future.
