Save Christchurch Hospital Chapel
The original presentation in 2013, objections were raised because they intended to demolish the Chapel at Christchurch Hospital, which was built out of public funds, not NHS funds, it was initiated by the League of Friends. It was given to us that if we terminated our objections, the Chapel would be taken down brick by brick, and rebuilt in its entirety very close to the new Macmillan Unit.
It has now been given that the Chapel will now be demolished completely and be replaced by a much smaller Chapel with no music facility whatsoever, which means the Memorial Services for those who have died in the Macmillan Unit will no longer be available to relatives.

Why is this important?
It is important that the Chapel remains in site or re-built near to the new Macmillan Unit as it is used by many people. Please support my objection to the demolition of the Chapel, and the proposed replacement prayer room.
