Torbay Planning Committee unanimously REFUSED the application. First round won - second round awaiting Developers Appeal. The green field site was refused as it lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The demolition of historic Upton Manor Farm was refused as the buildings have been described as the 'Gateway into the AONB'. Thanks to you all for your SUPPORT.

Cop26 has failed But I believe that Upton Manor Farm Fields could become a New Woodland planting hundreds of broad leaf and traditional Devon apple trees. Imagine the positive benefits spring blossoms, autumn apples, bees, birds, bats, badgers etc. Hundreds of tonnes of Carbon absorbed, mental health improved. This in place of 133 unwanted houses. We must lobby Torbay Council Planning offering this alternative. Thanks. 'Save Brixham's Green Spaces' it's disappearing fast!!
