Save West Smithfield Public Toilet from Closure

Save West Smithfield Public Toilet from Closure

Keep it open as a vital Community asset.

Why is this important?

Apart from being an historic and architecturally important building it is currently well run and will be a great loss to the area. I cannot see how the closure would provide any meaningful saving to the City of London.

Reasons for signing

  • If you suffer from DI you need all the public toilets open
  • This is one of the few remaining civilised toilet facilities left in London,if the corporation think they are contributing to the quality of life around the city by closing it they have lost their sense of being in a world class city
  • With an increasing lack of public facilities in central London, it would be a scandalous decision to close this much needed toilet.
