Say thank you to Alan Bates vs The Post Office for his extreme tenacity and dedication.
Unlike former Post Office CEO Paula Vennels, Alan Bates is unlikely to accept any sort of gong from the British honours system, despite dedicating decades of superhuman effort, time and tenacity to righting the injustices knowingly meted out by a number of despicable and dishonest people in The Post Office and Fujitsu. Without his efforts, this widespread miscarriage of justice would be continuing, unbeknown to any but the hundreds of unfortunate victims.
Therefore, I hope you will join me in showing this small token of appreciation to Mr Bates, his ever supportive wife Suzanne and all those who assisted and supported him in his lengthy crusade.
This huge and proven miscarriage of justice has also highlighted the inadequacies of our judicial system, whereby those with enough money (whether their own or ours as taxpayers) can successfully purchase justice over those without enough, rightly or wrongly. Perhaps this episode can result in some of this inadequacy being addressed, or are we expected to accept the inevitable?
Could I politely request that anyone from The Post Office, Fujitsu, the legal system, the civil service or the British Parliament, who in any way participated in this egregious miscarriage of justice and ongoing delay in recompense or compensation, refrain from signing. That includes those who refused to look, listen or act. You ARE the problem.

Why is this important?
Alan Bates fully deserves recognition. Highlighting those who were and are the problem deserve likewise.
