Scrap NHS staff parking charges at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary

We are currently fighting a global pandemic virus where social distancing is of key importance in minimising its spread. NHS staff have been advised not to use public transport to minimise the risk of them becoming infected, as every single one of them will be needed to care for those affected. They should not be having to pay for parking so that they can attend hospitals and care for our loved ones. They are already under immense pressure and putting themselves at great risk and should not have to worry about how they can afford to be at work. In this time of national crisis we are asking you to do the right thing and remove this burden immediately and allow NHS staff to park for free in you car park for however long is necessary to have them at work providing a vital service in the national interest.
