Scrap tax-unregistered pension schemes

Tax-unregistered pension schemes should not exist.

Only the priviledged few have them, and they are the people who need them the least. Sir Keir Starmer has one; his dear old father did not have one.

All pension schemes should be registered for tax.

In scrapping the principle of tax-unregistered schemes, all currently running and existing schemes should become eligible for tax.

Why is this important?

Taxation benefits the country as a whole, and we all contribute. It sends a poor message when the rich and powerful are given exemptions that are not available to us all. These exemptions are given to people who need them the least.
