Slow Down Fast Fashion
Dear whomever it concerns,
We are writing to question about the direction of fast fashion in our society. It is a huge problem that affects the planet, people and many species in biodiverse regions. did you know 150 million trees are logged every year to create specific textiles which contributes to mass deforestation. the fashion industry is a silent contributor of climate change through deforestation by the vast amounts of clothing made because of the demand of the people.

Why is this important?
Fashion is a factor that affects everyone with its problems which are hidden in flashy and bright adverts and colours. Many ways of making clothes and transporting them affects the planet in many ways that are not often understood by many people. Our aim is to spread awareness for this problem through this petition whilst making a bigger change to our city and peers.
